Week 4: Trustworthy Overview
(This lesson plan is for all age groups)
Steps:
- Review the age-specific character overview from week 1.
- Run each student through the age-specific drills from week 2.
- Ask two or three students to share with everyone what they learned about being trustworthy. Ask them if they feel more trustworthy now that they’ve learned the difference between being trustworthy and untrustworthy.
- Have the parents applaud the students for conquering the character word trustworthy.
Final character discussion for trustworthy:
“This month you’ve learned how to be trustworthy. You have learned that telling the truth is more important than lying. You have also learned not to cheat, steal, or break promises. The more trustworthy you are the more people will respect you.” |
